7 Things Cats Just Don’t Care About

January 15, 2020
Kitties are certainly very interesting little pets. We may never figure out all of Fluffy’s cute quirks. However, although all of our feline friends have their own characteristics, they do share some common likes and dislikes. Many cats are also on the same page when it comes to what does and doesn’t matter to them. Read on as a Frisco, TX vet lists some things that your furry pal just couldn’t care less about.

Your Privacy

Cats like to keep a very close eye on their humans. Your furball may watch you closely as you go about day-to-day tasks, and may follow you around like a furry little shadow. Fluffy may even try to accompany you to the bathroom!

Your Comfort

Our feline pals love to snuggle up with their humans. It’s always nice to relax and settle in with a good movie and a cat purring on your lap. That said, some of Fluffy’s habits—like kneading—can make cuddle time uncomfortable.

Your Computer Documents

Kitties are always on the lookout for warm napping spots, and they aren’t particularly opposed to curling up on computers. Fluffy has left her pawprints on quite a few documents and programs!

Your Clothing

Cats are very diligent when it comes to leaving fur around. Fluffy will thoughtfully move from spot to spot for all of her naps, just to ensure that everything has the right amount of pet hair on it.

Your Glassware

Kitties are full of adorable quirks … like smacking small objects off tables and counters. Our feline buddies have certainly broken their fair share of glasses over the years!

Your Schedule

Kitties are very playful, which is one reason they make such cute pets. However, many people owned by cats aren’t as thrilled when their pets get the zoomies in the middle of the night. (Tip: if Fluffy likes to bat her favorite toy down the hall when you’re sleeping, tire her out with a fun play session before bed.)

Appearances

One of the best things about kitties is the fact that they offer unconditional love. Fluffy doesn’t care about your job, your bank account, or your social status: she just wants you to pet her!
